FAQ

let me answer your most burning questions

Q: How long until I get my pictures?! What's taking so long?!

I swear I'm working on them! For non-wedding sessions my turn-around time is around 3 to 5 weeks. Weddings can range from 4 to 7 weeks depending on the season. I will ALWAYS try to get them to you as quickly as possible. Trust me, I want you to have them. But we photographers treat every image with care and tweak it until it's absolutely perfect. My number one priority is great emotion - filled work, not quick and easy. It'll be worth the wait! I promise.

Q: Can I have the unedited images?

Nope. Trust me, you don't want them. I cull through and pick the best of the best to import into my editing software and then I dwindle them down even more so you receive the cream of the crop, edited and brand new. The unedited stuff isn't what you pay me for; let me put in the work.

Q: Do you always dance like that

Yeah basically. Don't be jealous though, I can teach you my smooth moves.

Q: How many images will I receive?

For a non-wedding session, you will receive anywhere from 35 to 70 images depending on how long of a session you decide on. For weddings you can expect around 40 to 60 an hour of shoot time.

Q: Why do you play music?

Music is incredible in so many ways and I firmly believe it's one of the few things in life that can connect people who have nothing else in common. Music loosens people up for the session, the rhythm sets the mood for the session. It's SO fun. My couples tell me their music taste and I create a playlist. We party. It's awesome.

Q: How do we book you?

We chat awhile. I never book without meeting a client in person or talking over the phone/Skype. We want to make a good team. We need that mutual respect and trust. Once we get that out of the way, we pick a package and I send you a contract. You sign away and also send a 35% non-refundable deposit towards your final wedding payment. For portrait sessions the process is the same, except a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to officially book your date. Then it's party time!!

Q: Do you watch anything besides "The Office"?

Negative. I cry every time  Michael leaves and every time the last episode ends. It's an unhealthy obsession but I'm working on it, okay? I promise.

Q: Can we have a second shooter for our wedding?

HECK YEAH. They will add $350 to $600 to your final total depending on how many hours you chose for coverage. Second shooters are GREAT and will allow for different angles and moments captured when I can't be in 2 places at once. It's a true party if I do say so myself. However, you don't need one and you will still have a lovely full wedding gallery without one.
